How to: Update Item Distribution from Hierarchy Relation
Item Distribution is a concept in Replenishment to define which Items are replenished to which Stores. This information is stored in the Item Distribution table which can be maintained on the Retail Item Card, the Distribution FastTab.
Hierarchy Relations can be used to maintain this information in a simpler and faster way. Hierarchy Relations also let you update the relevant tables manually or via Scheduler Job.
To update the Item Distribution
- Open the Hierarchy Relation card.
- In the Home menu, click Edit Hierarchy Relation (Assortment).
- On the Hierarchy Relation Card, click Update Item Distribution on the Actions menu.
Note: This function will update the Item Distribution table for all Items which are included in the item-related Hierarchy in this Hierarchy Relation.
If there is a more recent Hierarchy Relation, based on the Starting Date field, the system will issue a warning.
